POVERTY RELIEF PROGRAMME

THROUGH ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

Our main thrust in our POVERTY RELIEF PROGRAM is to teach people how to fish rather than give them fish to eat. However this does not preclude our providing healthy meals and refreshments to those who participate in the programs.

The programs themselves have two thrusts, one relating to FOOD and the other to ENERGY. We deal either directly with communities, or with corporates and municipalities.

  1. Training disadvantaged communities to access alternative energy, and to live healthy lifestyles through what they grow, to food preparation, school lunches, home menus, and exercise.
  2. Assisting corporates and municipalities to supply products, relating to food and energy security, to communities and teaching the recipients how to use them. This applies to installing food gardens, lighting solutions, heat and electricity using healthy biomass stoves and wonder bags, and power using photovoltaic systems.
